Quality Inspector

We have a live opportunity for a Quality Inspector to join a leading Aerospace manufacturing company based close to Newington, CT.
Due to growth, our client is actively seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Quality Inspector to join their industry-leading business. The Quality Inspector is responsible for the inspection, documentation, and certification of critical Aerospace components.

Responsibilities for the Quality Inspector:

• Interpret technical drawings and ensure components are within tolerance.
• Utilize NFC or MRB processes to notify of any tolerance discrepancies.
• Use various tools including operating CMM, FARO arm, Borescope, Calipers, Micrometers, etc.
• Strong understanding of GD&T.
• Be proactive and self-motivated and able to adjust in a dynamic work environment.

Experience for the Quality Inspector:

• Previous experience within an Aerospace manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
• Confident performing 1st piece, in-process, and final inspection.
• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Knowledge of CMM is preferred.
• Exposure to using a FARO arm is preferred.

Hours and pay for the Quality Inspector:

• 7am- 3:30pm Or 3:30 pm – 12am. 
• Pay range is between .92ph and .14ph depending on experience.
• 11% shift Diffrential for 2nd shift 

The positon is a full-time Direct hire.
