We have a live opportunity for a Quality Inspector to join a leading Aerospace manufacturing company based close to Enfield CT.
 
Due to growth our client is actively seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Quality Inspector to join their industry leading business. The Quality Inspector is responsible for the inspection, documentation, and certification of critical Aerospace components.
 
 
Responsibilities for the Quality Inspector:

• Interpret technical drawings and ensure components are within tolerance.
• Utilize NFC or MRB processes to notify of any tolerance discrepancies.
• Use various tools including operating CMM, FARO arm, Borescope, Calipers, Micrometers, etc.
• Strong understanding of GD&T.
• Be proactive and self-motivated and be able to adjust in a dynamic work environment.

 
Experience for the Quality Inspector:

• Previous experience within an Aerospace manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
• Confident performing 1st piece, in-process, and final inspection.
• HS diploma or GED is required.
• Knowledge of CMM is preferred
• Exposure to using a FARO arm is preferred.

Hours and pay for the Quality Inspector:

• Flexible hours but must be 7am starts.
• Pay range is between ph and ph depending on experience.
