Machine Operator

Our client, a globally recognized manufacturer of aerospace, automotive and surgical tools are currently looking for an experienced machine operator to join their team at their site in St. Petersburg.
Due to growth, our client is actively employing candidates who are looking for a successful and long career. First shifts are available.

The machine operators play a critical role in driving sales strategy forward. You will be tasked with setting up machinery to cut flexible shafts, using hydraulic presses to attach fittings and inspecting products with a variety of precision tools. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and a strong computer and math skill.

Responsibilities for the Machine Operators:

• Set up production machinery to be able to cut flexible shaft.
• Inspecting products using variety of tools (micrometer and calipers)
• Read and interpret technical blueprints to produce complex components.
• Use small hydraulic presses to attach metal fittings to shaft
• Maintain work area and equipment where possible.

Experience for the Machine Operators:

• Minimum of 2 years mechanical assembly experience.
• High school diploma/GED required or equivalent.
• Great communication skills.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints desired.
• Basic math and computer skills required.

Hours and pay rates for the Machine Operators:

• 1st shift: 08:00am – 4:30pm – Monday – Friday
• Pay range:  – per hour (depending on experience)
