A growing aerospace manufacturing company is seeking a Business Development Executive to drive new business growth across aerospace, defense, and industrial markets.

This is a high-impact, customer-facing role focused on developing new opportunities, building strategic relationships, and converting RFQs into long-term revenue. The successful candidate will work closely with engineering, quality, and operations teams while developing business with aerospace manufacturers, suppliers, and MRO organizations.

What You’ll Do

  • Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities.
  • Build relationships with aerospace and defense manufacturers, suppliers, and service providers.
  • Generate and manage a strong pipeline through prospecting, customer visits, networking, and industry events.
  • Develop strategic account plans and grow existing customer relationships.
  • Work closely with technical teams to understand customer requirements and develop solutions.
  • Manage RFQs, quotations, and sales opportunities through the full sales cycle.
  • Track pipeline activity, forecasts, and business development performance.
  • Represent the company at customer meetings, trade shows, and industry events.

What We’re Looking For

  • 7+ years of business development, technical sales, account management, or commercial leadership experience.
  • Experience selling into aerospace, defense, manufacturing, industrial, MRO, or engineered services markets.
  • Proven track record of developing new business and growing customer relationships.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with engineering, quality, procurement, and operations stakeholders.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Comfortable working independently and managing a sales pipeline.
  • Willingness to travel 20–40%.

Preferred Experience

  • Aerospace manufacturing, coatings, special processes, machining, heat treat, MRO, or engineered services.
  • Existing aerospace industry relationships.
  • Experience selling technical or manufacturing solutions.
  • Knowledge of AS9100, NADCAP, aerospace specifications, or OEM approval processes.
